While the game has only been confirmed for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, we're betting that a Wii U version will be unveiled at E3 2012. This might be pure conjecture at this point, but it would seem that Nintendo would want such an announcement to be made during E3 to ensure maximum exposure on their new console.

According to a Japanese retailer, Pokémon Black & White 2 will launch in Japan on June 23rd. We already knew the games were set for a June release, so this isn't a stretch at all. Serebii.net also points out that, unlike Western retailers, Japanese retailers seldom put up a "placeholder releasedate" for games, making it all the more likely that the June 23rd releasedate is real.
In related news, the next episode of Pokémon Smash, airing on April 15th, is said to feature the first trailer and footage of the games, so expect to see the trailer as soon as we get our hands on it here on MPN.

Poll Results: Super Bash Sisters Should Happen
By
Alex
at
4/05/2012 09:59:00 AM
During the Kid Icarus: Uprising "how to play" videos that are included with the game, Lady Palutena briefly mentions "Super Bash Sisters" as the game that featured a certain move. Pit corrects her and states she means "Super Smash Bros.", but Palutena disagrees.
Ever since we heard of "Super Bash Sisters", we figured it would be a very fun edition of Super Smash Bros. Not to say this game should replace Super Smash Bros., but it could be a very fun extra mode. Maybe Masahiro Sakurai will work it in as a little wink and nod towards Palutena's mention.
We asked our visitors to vote if Super Bash Sisters should happen and the majority of the voters (73%) voted "yes".
It seems 27% of the voters are against the idea (boo!), though we have no clue as to why one would oppose a fun idea as Super Bash Sisters. Perhaps the fear of not getting a "proper" Smash Bros. game? Or does it sound too girly? Don't let Lady Palutena hear you!
In any case, why not share your views on "Super Bash Sisters" in the comments?
